Why You Should Place Matches In Your Flower Pots

Posted on December 14, 2022 by thegardenbeds

Houseplants, sticking with them sounds like a lot of hard work, right? It doesn’t have to be that way. Using matchsticks to revive plants can make your houseplant look healthy again.

Indoor plants are more than just decoration, they can help make life better inside the home. They not only improve air quality and provide an increased amount of oxygen in a room, but they also make people feel more comfortable with their environment.

Even if you water them frequently and try to keep the plant healthy, sometimes they still seem sad. Parasites are usually to blame when a plant is looking bad.

For some people, the only solution to their landscaping problems is chemicals. But this can cause increased risk of damage that can affect plants even more.

Matchsticks are often used for lighting fires in nature-related places like camping trips. However, if you take some matches and stick them into the ground around your plants roots, they’ll grow better because they have more food. This leads to healthier leaves which is ultimately better growth overall!

The reason is in the matchheads, more specifically, what they are made of. The phosphorus and sulfur will safely and reliably help get rid of bugs without needing to buy expensive poisons or chemicals.

If you’re looking for a quick and easy solution, then this may be the answer for you. You’ll only spend a few minutes putting it in place and then you can reuse it as needed.
